Job Title: Hannibal High School Registrar
Position Summary: The High School Registrar is responsible for maintaining accurate student records, including transcripts and enrollment information. This role ensures that all student data is properly recorded, updated, and accessible, supporting the school’s academic administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Transcripts: Process requests for official and unofficial transcripts, ensure accuracy, and provide timely updates.
- Maintain Student Records: Input, update, and safeguard student academic records, including grades, attendance, and personal information, in the school’s database.
- Verify Graduation Requirements: Ensure that students meet all necessary requirements for graduation and assist with verifying their eligibility.
- Enrollment and Withdrawals: Assist with enrolling new students and processing student withdrawals or transfers.
- Compliance: Ensure all records comply with state and federal regulations regarding student privacy.
- Assist with Scheduling: Support the creation and maintenance of class schedules and student placements.
- Provide Reports: Generate and distribute reports related to student records, such as enrollment statistics or grade distributions.
Office Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to appropriate staff, and take messages as necessary.
- Coordinate scheduling of the conference room for all building staff
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for office staff as needed.
- Handle mail distribution and prepare outgoing correspondence.
- Engage and direct visitors and outside agencies
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with student information systems and record-keeping software
- Knowledge of state and district regulations regarding student records
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
